As you probably have heard, Factory Motor Parts (FMP) has acquired a number of AutoPlus locations, which have become a part of the FMP family. You’ll still get the same great service and top-quality parts you’ve come to expect, plus a whole lot more!

As we prepare to merge the AutoPlus IT systems with ours, here is some important information we at Factory Motor Parts want you know.

Effective today, your current Nexpart login credentials will carry over to the new FMP Nexpart instance.

This means no change for your to access Nexpart.

Your existing location visibility will be updated on Day 1 to reflect only locations operating on the FMP operating system, which will now include our Branford CT Distribution Center in addition to Avon MA which is being converted to FMP as part of this wave.   This does mean that Warehouses in subsequent conversion waves (Upper Marlboro 7/17, and Marietta 7/24) will not be visible until they are converted to the FMP network.

If you wish to add additional local branches to your view, please contact your salesperson.

We don’t have these parts loaded yet. Please contact your customer service representative for assistance.

Stores and DC’s will be shut down at 12PM on Friday 7/7 to prepare for the system conversion and will re-open for business on Monday 7/10.

Delivery carriers and delivery frequency will continue as it is today going forward.

June Invoices - Your June purchases should continue to be paid to Auto Plus. Auto Plus is working with FMP to reconcile all payments made between companies.

Store (SBC) Customer received a statement.

A: Customer can remit payment by going to the Integrated Imaging portal as they have done previously, and pay their statement there (GOOD OPTION)

B: Customer can stop by their LOCAL store and pay their statement balance there (BEST OPTION)

  1. If store location is still on SBC, take payment and post there
  2. If store has converted to FMP systems, take payment, log on the daily cash log, and deposit per training instructions

C: Customer can ACH/Wire payment to FMP - instructions are:

  • please send detailed payment remittance information to: cashapps@fmpco.com outlining what invoices are being paid with the payment

 

D: Customer can write a check to Factory Motor Parts and mail their payment and detailed remittance information to:

  • Factory Motor Parts, BIN 139107, P.O. Box 9107, Minneapolis, MN 55480-9107
  • (An available option, but not recommended due to delayed timing from USPS services)
